Web design & development

We design and build websites in Webflow and Shopify, shaped around your brand, your customers and what you need the website to achieve. It needs to look right, feel like your business and give people confidence in what they’re buying into.

Website work

Your website should make it easier for people to choose you.

Whether you sell online or need to generate enquiries, your website needs a clear role in how people decide.

Shopify
Ecommerce

Shopify ecommerce website

A store that makes products easy to find and the buying process straightforward.

Webflow

Webflow service website

A service site built to make the offer clear and help people get in touch.

Service business
Decide before you rebuild

What you can expect from your website

For many people, your website is their first proper experience of your business. The images, video, words, navigation, product presentation, reviews and overall feel all influence whether someone trusts what they’re seeing.

Then there’s the practical side. People need to find what they’re looking for, understand what you offer and know what to do next without having to work for it. We consider both.

Choose the right platform

The platforms we use

Shopify websites
For ecommerce. Shopify handles much of the infrastructure; our focus is the store your customers experience, from products and collections through to promotions, mobile, cart and checkout.
A typical build can cover
Store structure and key customer journeys
Responsive design and Shopify build
Agreed product and collection templates
Forms, analytics and agreed app setup
Testing and practical handover
Webflow websites
For service businesses, brands and marketing websites. Webflow gives us freedom over the visual direction and information structure while keeping the parts you need to update straightforward.
A typical build can cover
Information structure for agreed pages
Responsive design and Webflow build
Reusable sections and CMS where agreed
Forms, analytics and basic integrations
Testing and practical handover

The final quote depends on the agreed pages, templates, content, integrations and migration work. We confirm the scope and price before the build begins.

A defined build

We plan the site before we start designing it.

What the project covers

  • Priority pages, templates and customer journeys
  • Responsive design and build on the agreed platform
  • Forms, collections or ecommerce features in scope
  • Pre-launch testing and practical handover

What we need from you

  • One person who can consolidate feedback and approve decisions
  • Final copy, product information and imagery when required
  • Access to the domain, platform and connected tools
  • Legal, privacy and policy content for the finished site

If you want us to handle more of the content, migration or production work, it needs to be included in the proposal.

How the build moves

How the project works

01

Understand

We get to know your business, your customers and what the current website is or isn’t doing well.

02

Plan

We work through the structure, navigation, important pages and what each part of the site needs to communicate.

03

Design

We establish the visual direction and work through the key pages with you.

04

Build

The approved design is built in Webflow or Shopify.

05

Test and launch

We check mobile, forms, checkout, tracking and the important ways people use the site before it goes live.

Marketing-led

Your marketing should influence the website.

One advantage of having the site built by people who also work across Google, Meta, SEO and email is that we understand how people are likely to arrive. Someone coming from a Google search may need something different from someone clicking a Meta promotion.

A product that consistently converts well may deserve more prominence. A high-margin service may need a better landing page. A promotion sent through email shouldn’t make customers search the site to find the offer.

Content planning
Content, SEO and conversion

The content matters too.

Strong images, video, product shots and real content from your business can make a big difference to how the site feels and how quickly someone understands what you offer. If something is likely to hold the site back, we’ll tell you early so it can be sorted before we try to design around it.

SEO is considered from the start.

Page structure, URLs, headings, internal links and the information on the site are considered during the build. That doesn’t mean every website needs ongoing SEO afterwards; it means the basics should be right from the start.

Improve what’s there

You may not need to start again.

A full rebuild isn’t always the answer. If your current website has good foundations, there may be more value in improving a few important pages, changing the navigation, rebuilding a landing page or fixing part of the path customers take through the site.

We’ll look at what you have and tell you what we think is worth changing.

FAQ
The detail to settle before the build starts.
What is excluded from the standard build?
Hosting, platform plans, domains, paid themes, apps, plugins, transaction fees, ongoing maintenance and work outside the agreed scope are separate. Copywriting, photography, video, large-scale product entry, custom integrations and data migration are included only when the proposal says so.
Can you enter our products?
Yes, when product entry is part of the Shopify scope. The proposal states how many products are included and what information you need to provide. The base price does not include unlimited catalogue entry.
How do revisions and timing work?
The proposal sets the review stages and revision allowance. Feedback should be consolidated through the agreed contact. Revision periods sit outside the four-week and eight-week production estimates. Late content, delayed approvals, expanded scope and third-party dependencies can move the launch date.
Is SEO migration included?
Sound page structure and search foundations can be included in the build. Preserving visibility from an existing site through URL mapping, redirects, metadata transfer and post-launch checks is separate SEO migration work. We can scope and handle it.

Let us work out what should happen next

Tell us a little about your business, where you want to take it and what is getting in the way. You do not need to know which service you need. That is part of the conversation.
